Volunteer Tutors needed for Himilo Community Connect's Homework Club

Himilo Community Connect’s homework club provides a place for volunteer tutors and students to share in improving career and community aspirations.

When:   Volunteer one evening a week (from 1.5 to 3 hours) Monday or Wednesday. Apply now.

What:    Work with students to improve study skills, planning, specific homework tasks and to support them in their commitment to education.

Who:     Could be you! Requirements include a valid Working With Children Check and we provide training on tutoring skills, child safety and cultural learning.

The program is open to all primary and secondary students.

Where: Shop 48, The Harmony Centre, Bell St Mall, Heidelberg

Why:    This is a fantastic opportunity to volunteer your skills within our local community, support students and improve education outcomes.
